Understanding IT and the activities in tech organizations

Interactions and collaborations between non-technical professionals and IT Pros are increasing and becoming more important than ever. To successfully navigate those situations, non-technical professionals can benefit from a quality IT information site that covers the essentials of IT work in an understandable, effective, and productive manner.

In our view, such an IT information site should provide a good combination of “understandable IT information”, “strong and intuitive topic organization”, “powerful navigation and productivity features”, and all “without junk getting in the way”.

We could never find a site that worked that way, so we set out to create Tech Job Terms to solve this issue and committed to creating a unique IT information platform site that would:

  • Support people who work with IT Pros or want to learn about IT
  • Use an intuitive topic structure to clarify how IT works overall
  • Function as a comprehensive resource for IT information
  • Assist users in their work without things getting in the way

Helping You Understand IT Work

The above-listed goals led us to build the platform with:

  • Understandable and concise definitions that expand your knowledge of IT work
  • Full access to all IT topic content of all levels as an IT training tool for all users
  • Extensive coverage of a wide range of IT topics so all information is “ready to go”
  • Clear topic organization in categories and groups to easily show the big picture
  • Strong site features for productivity and speed to maximize the site’s usability
  • A modern Member Forum for easy discussions of IT topics with other users
