Product Backlog

In Agile project management, a Product Backlog is a central list of all desired features, fixes, improvements, and changes for a product. It is the single source of work for the Agile team, especially in frameworks like Scrum.

The Product Owner maintains the Product Backlog, which evolves over time as the product grows and stakeholder needs shift. Items in the backlog are typically written as user stories or tasks, which describe the functionality from the end-user’s perspective. Technical tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello are commonly used to manage and prioritize backlog items, helping the team stay organized and responsive throughout the development process.
